Pharmacy Automated Mechanisms is a Canadian owned & operated establishment. The Founder and President is proudly a pharmacist since 1984 and actively practicing in different community pharmacy settings; Chain, Banner and Independent, for over two decades in Ontario.
Our company has been in operation since 2010, proposing innovative technologies that promote error-free pharmacy work-flow platforms, which have been patented both in Canada and the USA.
The Prescriptions Check Point is an innovative system to allow the Pharmacist overseeing the dispensing procedures remotely and minimize/eliminate human errors in dispensing prescriptions. The system, along with the designed hardware (Desk-Top Kiosk), were found to be unique and granted The US Patent # US-20170169188-A1 and US-9886555-B2 consequently.
Recently, on December 6, 2022, after 11 years of an extensive work, we have received a Canadian Patent # Ca 2 755 611 for the same procedure and apparatus.
Because of the recent exciting news released by the Ontario Government to recognize the pharmacist's role and fund Minor Ailment Services in Ontario Pharmacies, we decided to focus on this initiative and help our colleague pharmacists in their practice to serve Ontarians better.
