New Product Information

New Plumbing Product Line

Custom Plumbing and Hardware has a new program for great pricing on a high-end faucet line.  It's a bulk project program, but up to 3 people can buddy up to get to the minimum, which is only $3600. The line has about 16 faucet styles, several handle choices and 11 finishes.  Within a style, all the faucets are priced the same, so nobody has to worry about changes in finishes or handles. There are handshowers, shower bars, showerheads, bath accessories, thermo and pressure balanced valves, roman tub sets, wall-mount and deck-mount lavatories, bidets, etc., etc.  Discounts vary, but the average is 35% for chrome and brass and 45% for bronze, nickels, hammered finishes, etc.  Some discounts go up to 58%.

In addition, there is a rebate to be paid the next year and additional discounts for prepaid orders.     There is a membership involved for these additional discounts, but it's only $275 for the first year and $150 for additional years.   PAMCA members will receive a 50% discount on their dues.  The membership is not required to purchase in the bulk program.  It just gives extra discounts and a rebate -- including a rebate on purchases from anybody referred to us by the member.

If enough plumbers sign on with the bulk project program, then the program will not be offered it to anybody else.  The company needs about 10 bulk sales a month to keep it a plumber-only program. Kitchen and bath sinks and other items as needed by the members are available.

Resourceful Bag & Tag, Inc. Launches ClearStream® PaperMax™ Recycling Container for Office Building Paper Recycling Programs

The ClearStream® PaperMax™, a customized recycling container for recyclable office paper and newspaper in office buildings, is the latest innovation of Illinois-based Resourceful Bag & Tag, Inc., creator of the successful ClearStream® TrashMax™ and ClearStream® Recycler products.

According to the American Forest & Paper Association, approximately 62 percent of discarded product in an office is recyclable paper. In the past, office managers and building managers have claimed that coordinating office or office building recycling programs is too time consuming and difficult to maintain. The use of a clear, clean recycling container, however, not only can encourage recycling in the workplace and help protect the environment, but also reduce waste removal costs.

PaperMax™, like the other products in the ClearStream® family, streamlines office recycling with the use of a clear bag and locking lid. Designed specifically for recyclable paper products, PaperMax™ allows multiple grades of paper – for example, clean office paper and newspaper -- to be sorted into separate containers as paper is collected. Viewing the contents of the recycling center prevents confusion and subsequent cross-contamination of recyclables and trash. In addition, the clear bag allows users to enjoy the result of their participation in the building's recycling efforts and sets an example for offices and individuals who otherwise might not be inclined to recycle.

An added benefit of the PaperMax™ clear bag is its durability, which allows it to be reused a number of times. The clear bag even helps prevent collection crews from mistaking recyclable paper for trash and depositing it into the wrong receptacles.

Further recycling flexibility is provided by the use of decals that clearly label containers for specific uses: newspaper, paper, white paper, and so on. In addition, PaperMax™ units are durable, lightweight, easy to maintain, and sized to fit in an office's or building’s high-traffic areas.

"Recycling office paper allows building owners, facility managers, and business owners to be seen as responsible corporate citizens," said Resourceful Bag & Tag President Jim Alderden. "Companies that take deliberate measures to recycle generally are more respected for their commitment to environmental stewardship and compliance."

Every ton of paper that is recycled saves 3.3 cubic yards of landfill space. Recycling paper, rather than discarding it, also helps offset the cost of trash disposal services. Waste-haulers and recycling companies usually offer rebates to customers that recycle, and businesses or building owners may often receive even greater discounts for the disposal of cleaner material, which can be achieved with the use of PaperMax™. Also, several hundreds of dollars may be saved, or even generated, if paper is brought to a recycling center instead of hauled to a landfill by a trash disposal company.

The ClearStream® TrashMax™, used for collecting trash, and ClearStream® Recycler, for recyclable bottles and cans, already have experienced success in more than 1,500 cities nationwide as effective source-separation recycling centers. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, office buildings, schools and institutions make up between 35 and 45 percent of all municipal solid waste. The added use of PaperMax™ can allow businesses and building owners to further flex their power in reducing the strain on our landfills and on our planet.

Founded in 1990, Resourceful Bag & Tag, Inc. is a privately owned company specializing in supplying waste collection products to haulers and municipal customers. The company operates from its headquarters located at 6420 W. 127th St., Suite 212, Palos Heights, IL 60463.
