| The PAMCA is a trade association whose primary purpose is to serve as the communication link between plumbing, heating, cooling, mechanical, electrical, New construction, appliance repair, refrigeration, backflow, water treatment and irrigation contractors, between contractors and associate members, between the association and the media, between the association and the general public. The PAMCA accomplishes its goal through a variety of activities in legislation, education and communication. |
| PAMCA has multiple membership categories for everyone in the industry. Contractor members include contractors in all of the above categories and institutions like universities and governmental agencies. Affiliate members are employees of contractor and associate members. Affiliate members receive the monthly newsletter and a membership card. Associate members are companies and individuals who provide a product or service for the industry. |
| The Association represents the contractors' interests in legislative and regulatory issues at City Hall, in the greater Houston area, Austin and Washington, D.C. Political action includes participation in the Construction Industry Council of the City of Houston, a Political Action Committee and its Health and Safety Fund and through PAMCA representation in a variety of legislative and regulatory groups. |

Through our newsletter, THE PAMCA CONNECTION, and other publications members receive a variety of information to help their businesses succeed. The monthly General Meeting of PAMCA, training sessions, seminars, courses, programs and numerous committees affords networking opportunities for both contractor and associate members. Networking provides communication and education between members to enhance and improve their business. |

| The PAMCA Air Conditioning Council has numerous programs and activities to serve the HVAC community. Member companies are automatically a member of this Council and welcome to participate in all its activities. |

The Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors
